Carryover Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Carryover mobile app created by MadJag Studios. Carryover is an on-device productivity app with optional in-app purchases. Carryover collects no personal data.

Information We Collect

Carryover does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. There is no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no tracking of any kind. Carryover does not require an account or a login.

On-Device Processing

Everything you create in Carryover stays on your device. Your audio recordings, transcripts, extracted items, generated artifacts, custom vocabulary, and preferences are stored locally using Apple's SwiftData and are never sent to MadJag Studios or any third party.

Speech transcription runs entirely on your device using Apple's on-device speech recognition. The intelligence engines that generate your artifacts also run entirely on your device. No recordings or text are sent to any server for processing.

Model Downloads

The optional Carryover Compact engine downloads a language model once, at your request, from Apple's content delivery network using Apple's On-Demand Resources. This download contains model data only and sends none of your content anywhere. No MadJag Studios server is involved in any part of the app.

In-App Purchases

Carryover Pro is sold through Apple's App Store as an auto-renewable annual subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. Carryover reads your purchase status from Apple (via StoreKit) only to unlock Pro features on your device. MadJag Studios does not receive or store your name, email, or payment details.

Microphone

The microphone is used only while you are actively recording a note, and only after you grant permission. There is no background or passive listening. Recordings are saved locally and are never uploaded.

App Tracking Transparency

Carryover does not track you across apps or websites and does not use the Advertising Identifier, so no App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown.

Third-Party Services

Carryover uses Apple's frameworks and Apple's On-Demand Resources to deliver the model. It integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash-reporting services. Your use of the App Store and Apple's services is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

Carryover is not directed to children under 13. Because Carryover collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
